🧘♀️ 🧘♂️ Seven days of meditation, soulful exploration, and strong, supportive friendship: a safe space to go deeper into experience and practice.
A Home Retreat led by Paramananda, in collaboration with Melbourne Buddhist Centre

Whenever the Buddha spoke the Dharma it is said to have sounded like a lion’s roar. And in middle eastern myth, when a lioness gives birth to stillborn cubs they are brought to life by the mighty roar of their mother. On this meditation retreat, Paramananda and friends will be waking us up every day — heart, mind and body — to the promise of our full potential.
Following Paramananda’s work with the symbols of the alchemical tradition — where the green lion is a symbol for the heart — the retreat will focus on how we can be more present to the depths of our own experience, and also more comfortable being in the world. Both of these take love and courage – two qualities cultivated by the Buddha as essential on the path.
Paramananda is one of Triratna’s most loved meditation teachers and a great friend of Home Retreats here on The Buddhist Centre Online. We are delighted to welcome him back this July as part of another joint retreat with the fabulous team at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre in Australia!
Join us for an emergent space that will include meditation, poetry, reflections, small and large group discussions and enquiry, teaching input, drumming, guided practices, and creative Buddhist ritual.
This retreat is presented in collaboration with Melbourne Buddhist Centre. The second session each day will be broadcast live from the Centre shrine room in Melbourne. Come and practise in truly international community!

The amount we suggest reflects the huge amount of work and love that goes into putting on events we hope will benefit everyone attending. If you can, please donate today. Thank you!
