Join us in celebrating Dharma Day, a festival commemorating the turning of the wheel of the Dharma, when the Buddha began sharing his experience of Enlightenment with others. The Melbourne Buddhist Centre is hosting a day filled with spiritual reflection, meditation, and community. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, come immerse yourself in the teachings of the Buddha and connect with like-minded individuals.
Through talks and discussions, we’ll explore the relevance of the Dharma in our lives today. Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of the path to awakening and celebrate the transformative power of the Buddha’s precious teachings.
Come along for a shared lunch after the morning meditation class, and stay for talks before ending the day with a puja (Buddhist ritual), in which Ash will be having her mitra ceremony. Mitra is a Sanskrit word for ‘friend’, and the ceremony marks a person’s commitment to practicing the Buddha’s teachings within our community. All are welcome to join us in this joyous celebration!
