The Cave: Residential Retreat with Bodhidasa

The Cave: Residential Retreat with Bodhidasa

Friday 21 August – Sunday 23 August at Wesburn Recreation Camp

Dare you enter?

What will you find inside?

Through dramatic storytelling, mask, meditation and creative play, this retreat will reenact a meeting that would forever change the life of Tibet’s greatest yogi, Milarepa. Will this meeting change yours too?

Bodhidasa returns to the Melbourne Sangha to share his fascination for the life and teachings of Milarepa. Though this retreat stands alone, it is in some ways a prequel to last year’s ‘Dancing with Demons’ retreat. Those who attend will be invited to engage wholeheartedly and unreservedly in what awaits within the cave of the heart. As such, it may not be suitable for newcomers. Participants need to be familiar with the practices taught in the Triratna Buddhist Community including meditation, ritual and chanting.
