Dollar-matched Donations

Dear friends,

We are thrilled to once again announce our dollar-matched donation fundraiser – two generous members of our sangha have again this year graciously offered to dollar-match any donations made to the MBC before June 30th, up to a cap of $10,000. This incredible initiative not only doubles the impact of your support (we could raise $20,000!) but also presents a tremendous opportunity for our centre. It currently costs over $10,000 (staff costs, retreat centre hire out costs, utilities etc) to keep the centre open each month, and without fund raising the centre will run at a loss. We have held our prices down and offered more events for free to help people who are less financially well off come into contact with the dharma. For the first half of this financial year we ran at breakeven. We need financial support for centre maintenance, to help build some cash reserves, and for future short and longer-term potential growth initiatives. Please help the MBC financially.
