Drop-in Classes

Learn the Triratna Buddhist Community’s two central meditation practices – the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (Development of Loving Kindness). Discover how to make Buddhist meditation part of your life.

We provide a ‘taster’ meditation class for those with little or no experience through our weekly drop-in classes that are open to all. Check the calendar below for upcoming meditation classes.

Class Times

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes at 12:30 pm to 1.15 pm

Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm to 8.30 pm

Saturday mornings at 11 am to 12 pm.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to be ready for a prompt start to the class.
The classes are led by experienced meditators who will introduce you to a meditation practice and help you set up a meditation posture that is right for you. We alternate on a weekly basis between the two meditation practices, the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana.
Costs: Lunchtimes $10/$8 Concession. Saturdays and Thursdays $15/$8 Concession
