Sangha Day Festival
Saturday November 25 , 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sangha Day is one of three annual festival days celebrating each of the Three Jewels. The Melbourne Buddhist Centre is hosting a day of rejoicing in the Sangha, the spiritual community of those who follow the Buddha’s teachings. Whether you’re new to our community, or have been involved for a long time, all are welcome in helping us celebrate our connection to one another.
Come along for a shared lunch after the morning yoga and meditation classes, and stay for talks on the importance of community, before ending the day with a Buddhist ritual (puja), in which Anthony will be having his mitra ceremony. Mitra is a Sanskrit word for ‘friend’, and the ceremony is a commitment to practicing the Buddha’s teachings within our community.
All are welcome to join us in this joyous celebration of the Sangha!
In person at the MBC/ By Donation (Give what you can)
Please bring a plate of vegan/vegetarian food to share, as well as your friends and family.
