Meditation Day Workshop
Sunday January 16 , 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
In this day course you will learn the basic principles of meditation, how to meditate effectively and how meditation can transform our daily lives.
You will be introduced to two core meditation practices, the Mindfulness of Breathing and Loving Kindness (Metta) Meditation by an experienced Buddhist meditation practitioner. Get essential tips on meditation, options for setting up a gentle meditation posture and how to establish an effective daily practice. In these meditation practices encounter groundedness and clarity leading to acceptance and an opening of the heart to ourselves and others.
Venue: Melbourne Buddhist Centre/ 23 David Street/ Brunswick
Sunday 16 January 10am – 3pm. BYO Vegan/Vegetarian lunch
Suitable for those with little or no meditation experience
