Sesshin Day Retreat July

In the Zen Buddhist tradition a sesshin is an intensive period of meditation to transform the heart-mind. Literally sesshin means touching the heart-mind, also referred to as gathering the mind. This is achieved through a program of continual practice. Join Apada for a 6 hour sesshin at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre, involving 6 meditation sessions interleaved with walking meditation and chanting. Exploring the Three Fold Path

Over four sessions we will be exploring Buddhist practices though discussion, study and activities. In the final week, participants will have the opportunity to share projects, either individually or in small groups.
