Instruction in Meditation
Learn the Triratna Buddhist Community’s two central meditation practices – the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (Development of Loving Kindness). Discover how to make Buddhist meditation part of your life.
Our meditation courses are taught by ordained members of the Triratna Buddhist Order, assisted by those training for ordination. They are experienced practitioners, who teach in a friendly, relaxed way, communicating from their own experience. The courses are scheduled throughout the year and generally run for 6 weeks on a Wednesday night from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
We provide a ‘taster’ meditation class for those with little or no experience through our weekly drop-in classes that are open to all. Check the calendar for upcoming meditation events.
