Saturday Morning Drop-in Meditation

An event every week that begins at 10:45am on Saturday, repeating indefinitely

Every Saturday we run two meditation sessions, one for those who know our practices and the other for those new to meditation who would like to be guided through a meditation practice. We alternate week by week between the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Development of Loving Kindness meditations. Please arrive in good time for a 11am start. Cost: $15 waged or $8 concession card holders

Each Thursday evening we offer two meditation sessions; one for those with little or no experience, and other for those experienced with our practises. Newcomers welcome! On alternate weeks we lead through either the Mindfulness of Breathing or the Metta Bhavana (Development of Loving Kindness) meditation practice. We meditate from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, then have a tea break. After the break we offer one of a range of activities, perhaps a talk, a discussion, or a workshop related to Dharma practice. No booking…

This is a great opportunity to learn about and discuss the Buddha’s teachings in a casual and supportive environment. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Dr Ambedkar Festival Day

At this festival day we commemorate the return of Buddhism to India when Dr Ambedkar and his Dalit followers chose Buddhism as the path of freedom from the caste system over 60 years ago.
