Thursday Lunchtime Drop-in Meditation

Suitable for new and experienced meditators The Centre is open from 12.00pm and the meditation starts at 12.30pm and finishes around 1.15pm. We alternate weekly, leading through the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana  (Development of Loving-Kindness) practices. Guidance is given for newcomers. We ask for a donation of $10 or $8 for concession cards holders.

Each Thursday evening we offer two meditation sessions; one for those with little or no experience, and other for those experienced with our practises. Newcomers welcome! On alternate weeks we lead through either the Mindfulness of Breathing or the Metta Bhavana (Development of Loving Kindness) meditation practice. We meditate from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, then have a tea break. After the break we offer one of a range of activities, perhaps a talk, a discussion, or a workshop related to Dharma practice. No booking…

  A Fortnightly gathering of young people interested in Buddhism Are you under 35 (or young at heart) and interested in Buddhism? Come along to Young Dharma Nights! This is a great opportunity to learn about and discuss the Buddha's teachings in a casual and supportive environment. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Sesshin Day Retreat August 2017

In the Zen Buddhist tradition a sesshin is an intensive period of meditation to transform the heart-mind. Literally sesshin means touching the heart-mind, also referred to as gathering the mind.
