7pm Friday 16 November to 3pm Sunday 18 November
A Young Melbourne Buddhists retreat led by Dhammakumāra, an ordained Buddhist within the Triratna Buddhist Order and Itir who is training for ordination. During this weekend retreat we will explore the potential of the mind through connecting with one of the most important figures of the later Buddhist tradition, Vajrasattva, the Prince of Purity. Vajrasattva’s archetype represents the ‘myth of the return journey’ through which we move from alienation to homecoming to our true nature. During this weekend we will explore the myth of Vajrasattva in meditation, discussion and devotional practice.
This retreat is open to all, between 18-35, who are familiar with our meditation practices.
Full Waged $250, Low Waged $185, Concession $120
