Young Melbourne Buddhist Retreat – Breaking Free
Friday June 8, 7:00 pm - Monday June 11, 3:00 pm
The concern of Buddhist practice is to break the endless cycle of action and reaction and instead cultivate a creative mind, aligned with reality. This shift requires a move towards a progressive, positive chain of conditionality called ‘the spiral path’. On this 3 day retreat Chittaprabha and Khemadhamma will explore the spiral path and conditionality, engaging in meditation, discussion and ritual, in the beautiful surroundings of the Brisbane Ranges, west of Melbourne.
Being on retreat allows the opportunity to take our practice deeper, away from usual distractions and stresses to gain a richer experience of ourselves and others in natural surroundings. There will be meditation, study and discussion and time to hang out together with like minded young people.
