Get into the Flow of Positive Consciousness
In the Zen tradition a sesshin is an intensive period of meditation to transform the heart-mind. Literally sesshin means touching the heart-mind and is also referred to as gathering the mind. This is achieved through a program of continuous mindful practice, whether sitting, standing. walking or eating.
Join Apada and Padmasiddhi for a 6 hour sesshin at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre, involving 6 meditation sessions of between 40 and 30 minutes with walking meditation in between each session to allow the body to stretch. The sesshin is conducted in silence, allowing an accumulative effect of each meditation to develop an intensity of practice and flow.
A light lunch will be provided on the day.
