Drop-in Meditation Class Saturday Morning
Saturday January 25 , 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Instruction is provided on two meditation practices, the Mindfulness of Breathing, for developing clarity and awareness and the Metta Bhavana (‘cultivation of loving kindness’) a practice that gently opens the heart and builds emotional positivity. Each week the classes alternate between the two practices.
Help is given to set up an effective meditation posture with guidance at each stage of the practice by an experienced meditation practitioner. Suitable for people completely new to meditation.
At the same time there is a class for regular meditators without the instruction resulting in a longer period of meditation.
The doors open at 10.30 am, so you can arrive early and settle in before the class. Stay back after the class for a tea and chat.
