Kindness Behaviour Training – 8 Week Course
Wednesday July 10, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This Kindness Behaviour Training (KBT) course is designed by Dr Paramabandhu Groves and Dr Jed Shamel and explores a variety of themes ……a forest of kindness, the forgiving heart, listening to the heart, kindness in the universe, mindful acceptance- turning towards difficulties through reflection, exercises and various meditation techniques.
Excerpts from the course book Mindful Emotion:
“Kindness is like a road: it can take us on a long journey that in time may have far-reaching consequences and embrace other qualities such as compassion, but it has the advantage of starting right outside our front door.”
“KBT is a training because it requires practice. As we practise, we see more and more subtle and skilfull ways of acting with kindness. We learn to combat the unhelpful ingrained habits of our heart and to transform them into ways of being that benefit both us and others and harvest rich rewards.”
