Intermediate Buddhism Course – 6 Week Course
Wednesday April 11, 2018, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Freedom and Transformation
Led by Rijumayi
Explore Buddhist ethics and deepen your practice through discussion, meditation, study and activities. What does Ahimsa (non harm) mean and how do we take the teaching to heart in our lives? How do we learn not to shy away from grey areas in our conduct and be confident in our choices when criticised or feel we are swimming against the tide?
The six week course will delve into the precepts, the Buddhas teachings on ethics and practical application of morality to transform our life and bring freedom to ourself and others. In the last night participants will share projects to take their reflections further and connect as a group.
Suitable for those who are familiar with Buddhism and the main meditation practices taught at MBC. Open to all who have completed an Introduction to Buddhism course or have some basic knowledge of Buddhism.
If your not sure if this event is suitable for you chat with Rijumayi or someone on the centre team before signing up.
Includes complementary entry to all our meditation drop-in classes for the duration of the course.
6 Wednesday nights from 11 April to 16 May, 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre
