Dharma Day Festival
Saturday July 8, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come and hear the Buddha’s words on Dharma Day.
The teachings of the Buddha, the Dharma, have come down to us today over the span of 2500 years. The Buddha first decided to teach when he saw that there were those with little dust in their eyes that would be able to see the truth of his teachings. Today we have been fortunate to find the Dharma and have the opportunity to follow the Path of the teachings for ourselves. On Dharma Day we celebrate with gratitude how the Dharma has transformed and continues to transform our lives.
The day will commence with our 11am drop-in meditation class, followed by the MBC Annual Skills Auction, Shared Lunch (bring vegetarian food to share), presentation of The Buddha Speaks and ending with a Puja.
