We run courses regularly throughout the year covering a wide range of themes based around meditation, mindfulness and Buddhism with a practical emphasis on how to cope with our busy lives.
Introduction to Meditation Courses
Our six week meditation courses for newcomers, introduce you to two central meditation practices: the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (Development of Loving-kindness). You will learn about posture, setting up a practice at home, and how to best support your own learning to meditate. The courses include free entry to all our meditation drop-in classes for the duration of the course to further assist you in making meditation an ongoing practice.
Aspects of Buddhism Introductory Courses
These courses introduce the history, principles, and practices of Buddhism, with an emphasis on the relevance and application to our daily lives. These courses are suitable for beginners, as well as for more experienced practitioners who wish to deepen and enrich their practice. Each course is unique, with a different leader and different content.
